I have been using this mod for a couple months now and I love it. Feels perfect in the hand. The DNA board is just awesome, the board comes pre-configured, so you don't even have to bother with Escribe unless you feel like it. And the finish looks like it just came out of the box. One wish I have, is they sell replacement battery doors so I could have a few customized with modfusion
Owned the device for 6mo (ish)
Pros: Using this device in temp control mode with stainless steel is where this device truly shines. It fits perfectly in the hand with its subtle curve that feels divine. Left hand, thumb fire button, right hand, index finger fire button. I've had builds as low as 0.07Ω. Replaceable 18650s (LiPO experience was terrible since it's out of commission while charging). Taking it on vacation you don't need your charging bay (that I always normally use), and just use the USB charging while bringing an additional USB phone charger; a week won't hurt your batteries, but always use the bay when at home. Evolv software is absolutely astonishing how you can customize your vape. For instance: I have a 1 second burst @ 55W then device goes to 49W after that. Slowly throttles down as temp is hit and rip completes. You can also change how much the wattage changes by, either 0.1W, 0.5W, or 1W. Sounds insignificant, but a few clicks to go down a few watts, rather than holding the button down and zooming past your intended target. I've settled on 0.5W. I also like seeing the board circuit temperature, rather than the default TC target is (I know what it is!) because the device will heat up, like every mod, but quantitative info is neat. I also have "total voltage remaining in battery" displayed, the battery meter seems a bit hopeful, but with my already married and used Sams 25Rs, seems to crap out @ 20%ish. However, having voltage displayed, I replace my cells @ 7.0Volts remaining, as you generally don't try to have 18650s go under 3.5V; when fully charged you see 8.4V as the fully charged 18650 is 4.2V. With new HG2s, the battery meter is far more accurate. Blue LED surrounds fire button that illuminates whenever pressed. A huge thing that completes the device is the screen ON TOP; it is *SO COOL* watching the wattage follow your curve that you set in Evolv. If you think this is a con because your atomizer leaks, you are doing something wrong. For reference, Avocado 24 hasn't leaked ONCE. It is light, and fits 22mm atomizers perfectly...which leads me to:
Cons: 23+mm atomizers will hang off, but with a 1mm thick silicon sleeve, this will no longer be an issue (with my Avo24). The coating on the device WILL chip/peel off. Fire button @ 60% coating, up/dn buttons @ 50% together. Body much better shape, thankfully. Even though the coating has come off, the device is still black underneath. Slightly better than the vaporshark 200W LiPO that I'm coming from, but still, c'mon guys. WHERE IS A SILICON SLEEVE??
Coming from a variable voltage only device, this device feels like an eon forward. To be frank, I can see myself using this for a long time. I still watch new product videos and reviews, but I see that they don't have a DNA chip and subtle curve like this mod, and I can safely say that I haven't seen a mod (to this day) that I would rather have than this vaporshark vaporflask133. Superlative product guys. Geez, did I forget anything?
I love this thing, my Sigelei 150 is gonna be collecting dust now that I have this mod. Escribe is awesome for customizing everything you want to a T. Only con is that anything you screw on that is larger than 22mm will hang off the edge but other than that it is great. A must buy. Used Modfusion to put a custom image on the battery door and it came out really nice. Loving temp control, rocking dual spaced Ti 24 g 8 wraps on my Limitless Plus RTA. Flavor is great, no dry hits. It's amazing. Seriously get this thing.
Waiting for the product. Existing, happy. Lets see when it will arrive :-)
